Mick Fairhurst is originally from Lancashire and enjoyed a long career in the Royal Navy, living for some years in Scotland, and for the past 25 years has been living in East Cornwall. A lifetime touring cyclist, Mick completed his first End to End in 1994, and in 2006 rode LEJOG and Back again. Both rides were completely unsupported. He has also driven in a support vehicle assisting fellow LEJOGers.
Cheers.. I use to own a chopper when I was ten. Nice to see you have a Chopper and every kid will still envy you. I remember it gave a smoothe ride, the one draw back was it is a heavy bicycle. Stay away from those hills at all cost, if not... good luck riding over them! Thanks for posting that great picture!!
